How much can I earn on my Tango Card™?
Each month the MI
Mobile app
consistently runs for at least 20 days per month on a device, you are
qualified as an active Media Insiders panelist and will receive a $5
reward. Collect your points or redeem them at your convenience.
To earn even more Tango Card rewards, you can activate up to three
eligible devices (including your primary device). Each device will earn
the monthly $5 reward, as long as the MI Mobile app remains activated
and runs for at least 20 days per month. To qualify, simply follow the
download
and activation instructions provided to new panelists, and use the same
e-mail address for all of the additional devices. Please note, only
three devices are allowed per registered panelist.
When do I get my monthly reward?
Each month that you remain an active
Media Insiders panelist,
we’ll deposit $5 into your Tango Card™ account for each qualified
device (up to three devices). Each device must remain active for a
minimum of 20 days within the month to qualify. You’ll receive your
reward via e-mail from Tango Card every four weeks for each month that
you qualify.
How do I redeem my Tango Card™ rewards?
We will direct you to a special registration page established just for
Media Insiders panelists. After you get your
app
activated, you will be sent an email message with a Card# and Pin# that
is needed to register with the Tango Card website. At this time, you
will register to create your Tango Card account. Each month, you’ll
receive an e-mail from Tango Card with your reward codes. You can login
to your Tango
Card account
to view your balance or redeem your rewards at your convenience. To
redeem, simply follow the instructions on the Tango Card site.
How is the research conducted?
Panel participants download a small mobile application (called “MI Mobile”) onto their Android™ or iOS-based (iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch®) smartphone, tablet or
Kindle
Fire. This app simply measures the activities that you conduct via your
device, such as sharing, viewing, clicking, chatting, downloading and
more. It also listens for TV Shows, and tries to identify what TV shows
you may be watching at the time.
Will the MI Mobile application impact my smartphone or tablet performance?
The MI Mobile app is a small application (about 3.3 megabytes). It
sits quietly in the background of your device and will not interfere
with your web, app,
wireless phone
or battery usage. Once installed, you should never need to re-activate
the MI Mobile app, but if it ever stops running, we will notify you by
e-mail. You should periodically confirm the checkmark next to ‘Data
Roaming’ is checked. If not, please touch it to activate your app.
After installing and activating the MI Mobile app, no further action
is needed from you and you can continue to use your device just as you
normally do. To qualify for member benefits , you must install, activate
and consistently run the app for at least 20 days per month.
