Tomorrow, Sunday, November 11th, we will be honoring the courageous men
and women who serve in our armed forces. November 11th, which marked
the end of World War I, was first declared Armistice Day by Woodrow
Wilson. The purpose being to reflect “
with solemn pride in the
heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude
for the victory…because…it has freed us and [enabled] America to show
her sympathy with peace and justice.” So, to all those serving in
the military, thank you very much for your daily sacrifice – our family
prays for your safety and well-being!
And, as a small way for America to show their appreciation, many
restaurants and stores around the country are offering special
promotions for those with military ID.
