CVS: $5 & $10 Scenarios for the Weekly Ad of 10/30/2011

Below are deal scenarios for the CVS ad for the week of 10/30 for shoppers just starting their CVS shopping adventure or who do not have any or many extra bucks on hand and do not want to spend much cash.  There are scenarios for $5 out of pocket cash and $10 out of pocket cash.

You can save the extra bucks left from the last transaction for next week’s extra buck deals and have even less out of pocket, or you could use them towards some of the CVS deals this week or other sale items.

NOTE:  This week is a little different--there are some bonus transactions to do first if they are available at our stores as noted (they can work for both the $5 & $10 Scenarios below):

Transaction A (see note above) (only if included in your Ad):

Buy 3 (three)  American or Hallmark Greetings Cards (excludes boxed cards and papyrus cards) @ $0.99 x 3=$2.97  Get $3 ECB wyb (3) NOTE:  some areas of the country do not have this deal but have Hallmark cards as part of the gift card deal.

Transaction B (see note above) (if you can find the 1 oz tubes): EDITING 10/30 6:52 a.m.:  The 1 oz tube is being reported as not producing the extra bucks even tho the ad states the smaller sizes.  If you try it and it doesn't you can show the ad to the cashier and they may print one for you.  It is possible it was a typo in the ad and there will be signs up to say it is not included.
