Couponing Tip: Know the Difference Between Expiration, Best By, and Use By Dates
When looking at a stamped date on your products, check out the
wording to make sure you use it in time or know when to donate it or
throw it out.
Best By/Best Before
This is advisory and not a strict expiration date. It simply means the product will taste best up until that date. It is still edible and okay to eat a little past the listed date, though you may notice a slight change in texture, flavor, or color. For example, chips and crackers often have a best by date. If you eat them after that, they may taste stale. Liquids can start to separate or crystallize, and sugar can clump.
Sell By/Display Until
Usually found on bread, dairy, and meat. This date helps the store keep track of inventory that needs to be purchased by that time. Many times food is still good to eat a little past the date as long as it was and is stored correctly. If the use by date is a day or two away, stores will usually discount the product to ensure it sells.

Rite Aid Shopping Scenarios for the week of 11/4!
Here is the KCL's shopping scenarios for the week of 11/4. You can see all of the Rite Aid deals here. Before shopping at RiteAid you should sign up for a Wellness card or
get one in your store. The best deals at Rite Aid utilize the +Up
Rewards and the Single Check Rebate (SCR) system. In addition to the +Up
Rewards which now load to your card, Rite Aid sends you a monthly
check for the total of all your rebates purchased during that month with
the SCR program. You can cash the check as you would any other check.
As of September 2nd, 2012, +Up Rewards are automatically
loaded to your wellness+ card (they will no longer print at the bottom
of register receipts. UNLESS YOU OPT OUT AT THE STORE!). In addition, a +Up Reward can only be redeemed
starting at 6AM on the day after it was earned and expires 14 days after issue. For more about these upcoming changes, check out this post. That means you’ll have to do your second transactions the next day
