Just a reminder that Couponing for Community Week is taking place THIS week (May 6-12)! Thousands of couponers nation-wide will be ‘flexing our couponing muscles’ to make a united effort to GIVE to a local food bank, rescue mission or friend in need.
Our goal this year is 30,000 items donated in one week’s time and it’s easy to be a part of this nation-wide effort. Here’s how YOU can participate:
- Make a donation to a local charity or friend. Then head over and enter your total number of items donated on the ‘See Our Progress’ tab. We’ll use the numbers entered to tally up the total donations made this week.
- You can also post a picture of your donations on the C4C Facebook wall. Just for fun, add a sign with the number of items donated and your location donated/city, so we can see the locations being blessed by your giving across the country. (MAKE SURE YOU PUT THAT "SAVING WITH CANDY" REFERRED YOU!)
- Don’t have time to take your donations somewhere this week? Don’t forget that Saturday, May 12 is also National Stamp Out Hunger day, so giving can be as simple as leaving a bag of non-perishable items by your mailbox that morning.
