Stockpiling is savvy, even for small households. You may not need a
pantry full (or garage) or packed cupboards, but having extras of what
you use and eat will save you money in the long run!
Buy a few extras when there’s a great sale price to pair with a
coupon, and store them for later. Shop the stockpile instead of running
to the store and paying full price in a pinch.
Great extras to have on hand include: oral care products, baking supplies, peanut butter and jam, canned soup, laundry and dish soap, tuna, cereal, cake or brownie mix, printer paper, writing utensils, tissues, toilet paper, and feminine products. Pet owners should consider buying an extra toy, box of treats, or small bag of food when there’s a great sale.
In small abodes, consider stockpiling in one or two of these places:

- Peg board w/hooks, great for anything that hangs:
- Packages of batteries
- Razors
- Cough drops
- Pens
- Cotton swabs, etc.
- Hang a chain from the ceiling and clip on bagged products (chips, dry soup mixes, crackers, dried fruit, nuts, cookies, etc).
- Linen, coat, and bedroom closets
