When manufacturers launch new products, they often entice buyers with a high-value coupon. That is when couponers strike.
When popular brands come out with a new
scent, flavor, size or line, chances are a great coupon will follow. For
example, Yoplait yogurt often offers coupons with values such as
$0.40/6 or $0.50/8. When the company premiers new flavors or lines, such
as lactose-free or Simplait, higher-value coupons hit the market like
$0.30/1 or even $0.40/1! Find these coupons in Sunday newspaper
inserts, printable online, magazines, or in-store tearpads on product
displays.
The best way to utilize these hot coupons is to pair them with store coupons and promotions to stock up for less, and be the first to try out what’s new. Stores will often run promotions and sales on items the week a new coupon comes out, enticing customers to hurry in and hopefully buy other products at retail price.
High-value coupons also make an appearance on Facebook when they hit milestones of “Likes,” product birthdays or corresponding holidays. These have a limited number of prints, so when I give you the head’s up, make sure to print them off quickly before they’re gone!
An important word of caution: ALWAYS try out a product before stocking up! Sample it or buy one at first to see if it is something you’ll definitely use or donate.
