Shop Small with AmEx on November 24 and Get $25 Free!

The holiday shopping season is kicking into high gear. By now, we've sneaked a peek at all of the Black Friday ads and is planning an attack strategy for the big-box retailers. But it’s also nice to support the local community and small businesses. And thanks to American Express Small Business Saturday, you can do just that while still getting deals worthy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In fact, you’ll get a $25 credit on your AmEx card FREE when you shop at a participating small business on Saturday, Nov. 24. You must have an American Express charge or credit card (prepaid cards and Serve cards will not work).
Here’s how it works:

1. Enroll your American Express card here.
2. On Saturday, November 24, make a purchase of $25 or more at any participating local small business. You can purchase more than one item, but your total purchase in one transaction must be at least $25. You can search the local map for participating businesses here. If you have synced your American Express card to your Foursquare account, you can also find eligible businesses on Foursquare.
3. Pay with your registered American Express card. A credit for $25 will appear on your AmEx statement within 8 weeks.

You can earn one $25 credit per American Express card. If you have more than one AmEx, you may register more than one card for this offer. “Local” businesses include restaurants, boutiques, even Ace Hardware and some specialty grocery stores!
