Home Depot: 16 Pk Light Bulbs as low as $2.97!?!

I've heard that some Home Depot stores have their 16 Packs of 100 watt or 60 watt light bulbs on clearance for $2.97.  Due to government regulations, they won’t be able to sell these next year (you have to get the energy saver ones). Please call before you head out to snatch these up because I think the price may vary by store/region.

Cooking with the FREE & Cheap – Broccoli Fettucicne Alfredo (Aldi shopping)

My son loves Broccoli Alfredo.... I thought I would share this recipe with you.  :)  If you missed the post yesterday regarding shopping at Aldi's, you may want to take a peek.

Broccoli Fettucini Alfredo

Ingredients:

• 8oz. cream cheese, cut into small pieces – Aldi brand- cost $0.89
• ¾ Parmesan cheese – Aldi brand – cost about $0.75
• ½ cup butter, cut into small pieces – Aldi brand on sale for $1.99 – cost $0.50
• ¾ cup milk, use 2% or higher – cost about $0.20
• 1 tsp dried basil
• A pinch of nutmeg
• Black pepper to taste
• 8 oz. fettucini noodles 
• Broccoli crowns – $1.49 at Aldi
