Couponing Tip: Know What to Do When a Catalina Doesn’t Print

If you expected to receive a Catalina and nothing printed, here’s what to do next:

Check the Receipt

First, look at the receipt and make sure the minimum spending requirement quantity or value has been reached. This amount is before ANY tax or coupons (unless your store advertisements specifically say “After Coupons”).

Speak with a Manager

If the product is marked on the shelf or in the ad as participating in a Catalina, speak with a store manager or customer service representative and request that they enforce the Catalina policy or give you a credit . If it is not marked in the store, go to step three.

Contact Catalina

To request your Catalina from Catalina Marketing Corp., call 1-888-8COUPON or email ncsc@catalinamarketing.com. Be sure to provide your address, the store name and address, your store loyalty card, and have your checkout receipt handy.

Tip: It’s a good idea to make sure the little green “on” light is shining before you pick your checkout lane to avoid a Catalina machine that is out of paper or not functioning properly!
